Saved and recent
Star a conversion or a calculator and it lands here. So does whatever you used last. All of it lives in this browser's local storage — there is no account, nothing is uploaded, and clearing your site data removes every trace of it.

What is stored, exactly
Five lists and one settings object. A saved conversion holds the category, the two unit ids and the value you had typed; a saved calculator holds its id and subject. Recent lists are capped — twelve conversions, twelve calculators, eight searches — so they cannot grow without bound.
None of it is a cookie, none of it is sent with a request, and none of it can be read by another site. Export it as JSON if you want to move it, and use Clear everything to remove the lot including your display settings.
