From undecided to decided

Start with the dinner wheel above, paste your own list, or open one of the 60 presets. Every wheel is editable and works without an account.

  1. Make it yours. Edit the entries, paste a list, or open a saved text or JSON file.
  2. Set the chances. Keep all weights at 1 for equal chances, or give some choices more weight. Uncheck anything you want to leave out.
  3. Give it a spin. Click the wheel or press Space. Keep the winner, remove it, or turn on elimination for a round without repeats.

Keep your next good idea

Your wheel and the latest 100 results are saved in this browser. Save a file for a portable backup, export the results as CSV, or share a link containing a copy of your wheel. Clearing browser data also clears locally saved wheels.

A few things to know

How does the wheel choose a winner?

The browser’s cryptographic random generator selects an entry using its weight. A weight of 2 gives an entry twice the chance of an entry weighted 1. The animation lands on the selected slice; spin duration does not change the odds.

Can I pick names without repeats?

Yes. Open Settings and enable Eliminate winners. After each result is dismissed, that entry is disabled for the next spin. Choose Enable all to start another round, or Undo to restore the last change.

Are duplicate entries allowed?

Yes. Each row is a separate entry, so repeated labels have a combined greater chance. Removing a winner removes only that row from future spins.

Do shared wheels update automatically?

No. A share link contains a snapshot of the entries and settings when you create it. Recipients get an editable copy. Create a new link to share later changes. History is not shared.

What are the limits?

Use up to 200 entries, each with up to 80 characters. Weights range from 0.01 to 1,000. Very small slices may omit their label on the wheel; the full label remains in the editor. Large wheels can be shared as files if they exceed the link limit.
